C274 Litter Momma Toast, mom's Sponsorship Page
If you want a cat that is over the top affectionate but always looks grumpy, look no further! Momma Toast is a gorgeous older kitten, who already raised two babies of her own! Toast is extra snuggly and adores people of all ages. She has kitten-like energy and play drive and she gets along great with other cats. Toast will cuddle you while you sleep and provide a beautiful big purr to soothe your dreams. Sometimes she'll give you a love nibble (does not break skin). Toast showed up with her babies at the house of a HDDCR supporter. She made that her "base camp" and returned daily for a couple of weeks, then suddenly she didn't show up. The supporter, concerned about the kittens, alerted HDDCR and a volunteer went to check it out. We are so glad we went because little Mama Toast was lying in the bushes with a broken leg and she couldn't walk home to her babies! HDDCR made room for Toast and her sweet kittens and Toast was able to get repair surgery for her leg within 48 hours. With two pins and two screws, Toast healed for eight long weeks and has just received the "all clear" that her broken leg has fully healed. The pins have been removed, but the screws will remain for the rest of her life. Toast is a great older kitten and would be an amazing companion. She's going to need lots of loving and lots of play to help her emotional development and physical recovery. Toast would love to be in a home where she has a cat tower to look out the window. She'd also like kitty and or human siblings, please.
Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue microchips all dogs and cats before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the shoulder blades and are another form of identification should the animal get lost. The microchips are registered to Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue. The adopter's information is added once the adoption is complete. The adopter is responsible for a $19.99/Year registration fee or a $45.00/Lifetime registration fee to change information. Dogs and Cats still need to have collar with tags should they get lost.
