Meet Bandit, one of our newest arrivals at the Mikey & Me Kennels in Chelsea, Mi for Happy Days Reacue. Bandit is a very handsome boy, most likely a German Shorthaired Pointer Mix. We aren’t sure of his age yet but we’re guessing he’s 1-3 years old based on his good energy; he weighs about 47 pounds. Bandit is a very sweet boy, he enjoys meeting new people, seems OK with our other dogs, and he enjoys taking walks and spending time out on the trails. Bandit’s first Vet appointment is scheduled for next Friday, May 31st in Dexter. He will get a heart worm test, vaccinations, and any booster shots needed at that time. We have started Bandit on monthly heart worm prevention and flea/tick meds and will be scheduling his neuter surgery for sometime in the near future. Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue microchips all dogs and cats before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the shoulder blades and are another form of identification should the animal get lost. The microchips are registered to    Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue. The adopter's information is added once the adoption is complete. The adopter is responsible for a $19.99/Year registration fee or a $45.00/Lifetime registration fee to change information.    Dogs and Cats still need to have collar with tags should they get lost.
