Description:
Daisy is slowly making progress! and she has gotten better with my son, she has been listening to correction a bit better. She will take time to trust before she starts listening and that takes a little time. I feel in time she will learn to be okay with strangers, and hopefuly not charging the door! time and patience is what is required for Daisy and a fenced yard, for two reasons, first: you will not be able to leash her in the begining she takes about a week to warm up and you will need to let her in and out to go potty, and second: she loves to run like the wind!! lol she has the zoomies and loves to scout the yard daily this makes her a happy girl!
Daisy is a 4-year-old full breed Yorkshire Terrier who needs a home without children and is anxious around new people. When she gets around strangers she does get aggressive. She is 100% potty trained, and she loves going outside and looking out the window. Daisy plays and get along with well with kittens and does ok with dogs her size but is not a fan of big dogs or crowds, so only one other dog or cat would be preferred for Daisy. Daisy will need someone who is confident yet gentle and has experience with small, fearful dogs. Once she trusts you, she is sweet and loving, but to you only. Her ideal home would be a single female (she is very fearful of men!) with little to no traffic, Daisy is a Barker, so when she hears a noise, she will warn you and protect you with her big dog bark! Apartments will not be a good fit for her. She is small but mighty and very fearful of new people. It would be best if she has a fenced yard as you will need to be able to let her in and out to go potty until she gets used to you and allows you to touch her and put a leash on her.
Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue microchips all dogs and cats before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the shoulder blades and are another form of identification should the animal get lost. The microchips are registered to Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue. The adopter's information is added once the adoption is complete. The adopter is responsible for a $19.99/Year registration fee or a $45.00/Lifetime registration fee to change information. Dogs and Cats still need to have collar with tags should they get lost.
