Description:

Hi. My name is Taylor and I'm new to HDDCR. I am really scared and sad right now. I was in a loving home with my doggy sister and a loving parent. I don't know what happened, or why I was taken away from the only family I've ever known. I then had to stay in a shelter for a whole month. I've been waiting for my family to come and get me, take me back to our loving home, for things to be normal again. A few days ago I had a super long car ride and I was brought to a new house, with 5 doggy siblings for a few days. They wanted to play with me, but they were loud and I was still so scared. Now I am in a new, much quieter house, with a young lady and a dog I had never met before. They seem nice and give me food and my space, but I am not ready to trust them yet, especially after they made me take a bath! Things have been so scary since I was taken to the shelter, and it is going to take some time and patience for me to trust someone and build up my confidence. Is there anyone out there that has the time, patience, and love for me? I know I have so much love to give, it's just that I lost everything so it's all so scary right now! Taylor is a very sweet but timid girl who would do best in a family without small children, that is willing and able to give her the time she needs to build trust. She loves her crate as it is a safe spot, and has been loving chew toys and peanut butter lick mats. Once she is a bit more comfortable in her foster home, we will be taking and posting more pictures. she is a young Mountian Cur mix. Her elderly owner became ill and unable to take care of her. She is new to the rescue but we believe she is about 1.5 years old, and around 46 lbs. Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue microchips all dogs and cats before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the shoulder blades and are another form of identification should the animal get lost. The microchips are registered to  Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue. The adopter's information is added once the adoption is complete. The adopter is responsible for a $19.99/Year registration fee or a $69.00/Lifetime registration fee to change information.  Dogs and Cats still need to have collar with tags should they get lost.
