Tad is part of Happy Days Spring Fling celebration! Through the month of May, Tad along with many others, will have a reduced adoption fee of $75! My name is Tad. I have had a rough life so far and I'm looking for a family to show me what true love is. I was left behind when my last humans thought it was ok to desert me before Thanksgiving outside in the cold with nothing to eat and no shelter that was usable. I ate trash in the yard to try and just survive. A kind human reached out to someone and told her about me and then I ended up getting picked up and taken to the vet to find out I needed a blood transfusion. I was nearly dead because I also had a blockage because of the trash I ate. I spent many days at the vet fighting for my life but I finally starting passing the blockage on my own so I didn't need surgery. My blood levels got normal and I was able to go to my foster home. I'm a very good boy! I'm sweet and energetic and I get along with other dogs too. I am also crate trained. I'm looking for a family who will love me unconditionally and will never leave me behind. I matter and I'm not disposable. Are you looking for someone like me to save? Here are the news stories about me: https://youtu.be/Wr7gh4GatU8 http://www.fox2detroit.com/news/local-news/226704026-story Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue microchips all dogs and cats before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the shoulder blades and are another form of identification should the animal get lost. The microchips are registered to Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue. The adopter's information is added once the adoption is complete. The adopter is responsible for a $19.99/Year registration fee or a $69.00/Lifetime registration fee to change information. Dogs and Cats still need to have collar with tags should they get lost.
