Tall, dark and handsome male with muscular build and sensitive side seeking that special someone!   Loves the outdoors, playing ball and quiet nights cuddling on the couch.  Not much for the party life, but does like to hang-out with close friends.  Had broken relationship in the past so want to take it slow-n-easy.

BACKSTORY -- Solomon was saved from death row and arrived at his foster home on Thanksgiving Day in 2016.  He was severely underweight, had frostbite wounds, bleeding callouses, sparse fur, and was terrified of everyone.  After much needed TLC, surgery to repair torn ACLs in both knees, water therapy to regain his mobility, and medication to control a thyroid problem, Solomon has made a tremendous come-back.  He has been waiting for his forever home a very long time.  Solomon is a sensitive dog that would prefer the quiet of an all-adult home.  He lives peacefully with cats and dogs once he gets to know them.  He requires daily thyroid medication for life.  Although a bit older, Solomon still has many more years of cuddling and wet kisses to give to a family willing to invest the time, patience, and love he requires.

Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue microchips all dogs and cats before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the shoulder blades and are another form of identification should the animal get lost. The microchips are registered to  Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue. The adopter's information is added once the adoption is complete. The adopter is responsible for a $19.99/Year registration fee or a $69.00/Lifetime registration fee to change information.  Dogs and Cats still need to have collar with tags should they get lost.
