Other Pictures of Vegas-ADOPTED (click to see larger version):Vegas is a 4 year old purebred Lhasa Apso. He is fully vetted and neutered. He is also housetrained, leash trained and knows all basic commands, such as sit, stay, come, and down. Vegas is dog and older kid friendly only. Vegas is now looking for a new home. His owner has had him since he was a puppy. She was married, lived in a big home with a fenced yard. She was a stay at home mom to Vegas and her 3 sons, ages 7 to 16 years old. All of that changed when she got divorced and moved into a condo with no backyard and her 3 sons and now she must work fulltime. Poor Vegas had his whole happy little world turned upside down. His owner no longer has time to spend with him. Her sons are being irresponsible and not taking care of Vegas while she is at work. Some of the boys' friends have teased Vegas so much that he has now become nippy towards kids. So the kind of home he needs possibly is a retired couple or a home where one adult is retired or disabled and stay at home 24/7. Adopter must have a fenced in backyard and must be able to take Vegas for a walk on leash once a day. Vegas deserves to have his happy world back and turned around! Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue microchips all dogs and cats before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the shoulder blades and are another form of identification should the animal get lost. The microchips are registered to Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue. The adopter's information is added once the adoption is complete. The adopter is responsible for a $19.99/Year registration fee or a $69.00/Lifetime registration fee to change information. Dogs and Cats still need to have collar with tags should they get lost.
