Description:

Handsome Tenny was found in a building, unable to walk and with a shaking head. Tenny had a vet examine including a series of x-rays.  The x-rays did not reveal anything abnormal and it was determined that Tenny had suffered some neurological damage and would require special care. Despite his difficulties, Tenny has been quite loving and he deserves a chance at a happy life.

Some might say Tenny has had it rough but don’t tell him that – Tenny has one positive attitude and seems determined to enjoy life despite his challenges. Tenny has adjusted to his limitations and doesn’t let anything slow him down.  He loves to play and run around outside, doing a unique kind of hop with his back legs because they tend to stay together when he runs. He is as sweet as can be, loves attention and enjoys being petted.

With treatment and time, Tenny’s health has improved, but due to the neurological damage he sustained, housebreaking might be improbable. Future visits to a neurologist as he continues to grow might offer further insight and recommendations for care.  Tenny needs a very special family; patient and understanding of his unique needs and able to provide him the ongoing care and support he may require for the remainder of his life.  In return, this inspirational dog will give you unconditional love and loyalty.

Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue microchips all dogs and cats before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the shoulder blades and are another form of identification should the animal get lost. The microchips are registered to    Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue. The adopter's information is added once the adoption is complete. The adopter is responsible for a $19.99/Year registration fee or a $69.00/Lifetime registration fee to change information.  Dogs and Cats still need to have collar with tags should they get lost.
