Hello and welcome to an inside look at me, Ashford!  You can call me Ash for short, but I also like Ashford.  Even though we haven’t met, yet, I can tell that you’re perfectly wonderful.  All people are perfectly wonderful and I just feel so happy and lucky to be able to be a dog with so much love to give.  My foster mama has been teaching me so much and told me that I have become a professional in the cuddle category.  I like to sleep in my foster mama’s arms all night long, I’m a good little spoon.  My foster mama told me that I’m a velcro dog because I stick to her like velcro sticks together, haha, she is so silly!  I can also be silly because I love to play and run.  My human foster brother and I like to run around in the backyard and play together.  I also have two chihuahua foster brothers and they’re pretty cool.  Sometimes my furry foster brothers let me give them soft kisses.  My super silk fur, soft kisses, and expert skill in cuddling makes it hard for you to resist loving me. That’s good in my book because I have a ton of love to give.  My foster nana and foster papa come to visit and I can hardly contain my excitement when they cover over.  More people means more love and more cuddles!  Yay!  My foster mama says taking care of me is easy because I do my potty business outside.  I also know the command “no” and “crate”.  When my foster mama tells me to go in my crate I go in without any problems.  The first few days I came to my foster home I was just a little bit scared.  I never did anything wrong but I was afraid that all of this wonderful life was just a dream.  I thought the lonely nightmare of my life so far would come back and so sometimes I would give a quiet growl if I thought my human foster brother was going to steal my foster mama from me.  But my foster mama built my confidence by showing me that was wrong and by letting me know she was here to love and take care of me. I don’t do that anymore, and life is just full of love and cuddles from my foster brothers and foster mama.  Now all I need to find is a wonderful new someone who will let me love them forever and ever and ever.  Is that you, could that be you, will you let me love you?

Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue microchips all dogs and cats before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the shoulder blades and are another form of identification should the animal get lost. The microchips are registered to  Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue. The adopter's information is added once the adoption is complete. The adopter is responsible for a $19.99/Year registration fee or a $69.00/Lifetime registration fee to change information. D ogs and Cats still need to have collar with tags should they get lost.
