Description:

Hi everyone!  I’m Angel.  My foster mom says that is a good name for me because I’m soooooooo good!  I came to Michigan all the way from Kentucky.  It wasn’t planned….you may know what that means!  But at the last minute there was still room for little me to fit in the freedom ride transport, so on the truck I went, happy to be out of that sad and scary shelter.  I saw a doggie doctor when I arrived in Michigan.  For a 9-year-old-ish lady, I’m in pretty good shape, but I have aching knees—they call them luxating patellas—so I need to take pain medication daily.  I was told I am a Chihuahua and Pug mixed together…they call me a ‘Chug’.  All I know is that I am super cute and have a personality to match!  I am a bit shy though and take some time to get comfortable with people I don’t know.  I am very good in the house and know to go outdoors when I need to ‘take care of my business.’  My foster mom has a nice crate for me to relax and sleep in, but I really prefer to be on the couch next to her so I can get pets and cuddles.  Oh, and did I tell you I give the bestest doggie kisses around!!  Angel is UTD on shots, is spayed, and microchipped.  She currently lives with 4 others dogs all about her size.  She previously lived in a home with several bigger dogs and was scared.  If you have questions about Angel please contact her foster mom at j-jarrett@att.net .

Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue microchips all dogs and cats before adoption. Microchips are im planted between the shoulder blades and are another form of identification should the animal get lost. The microchips are registered to  Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue. The adopter's information is added once the adoption is complete. The adopter is responsible for a $19.99/Year registration fee or a $69.00/Lifetime registration fee to change information.   Dogs and Cats still need to have collar with tags should they get lost.
