Description:

This is Dexter, he is a 5-6 year old Shar Pei mix, and weighs about 45lbs. He is house trained, crate trained, and walks well on a leash. He is neutered, microchipped, and has had all of his shots. He is a very friendly boy, gets along well with other dogs, cats, kittens, and likes children and adults. He has made best friends with some of the kitties in his foster home :) He is a very gentle dog and loves cats and kittens along with all dogs and people! His favorite spot is on his back, sleeping on the couch :-) He also loves to rub up against you and get some lovin and pets!

Dexter has come along way since coming into the rescue with good food and TLC as he was not in the healthiest shape. He had eye surgery to correct entropia on both eyes. He i s doing great, he is about a month post op so is all healed up.

Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue microchips all dogs and cats before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the shoulder blades and are another form of identification should the animal get lost. The microchips are registered to Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue. The adopter's information is added once the adoption is complete. The adopter is responsible for a $19.99/Year registration fee or a $69.00/Lifetime registration fee to change information. Dogs and Cats still need to have collar with tags should they get lost.
