Benji is a 4 year old Cocker Spaniel. Benji is such a sweet dog!  He came to us severely neglected. His nails were so overgrown, his hair was so matted that we had to have him shaved down, he was covered in fleas, eye infections, ear infections, and will need surgery for cherry eye in both eyes. Benji is now on the road to recovery to love a good life and is getting the TLC he desperately needs and deserves! He is such a good boy and is very easy going. He does great with the dog in his foster home. He lays around and sleeps a lot, and even goes in his crate on his own if door is open. We will be updating his page as he progresses. He is feeling so much better already and is quite the character!

Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue microchips all dogs and cats before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the shoulder blades and are another form of identification should the animal get lost. The microchips are registered to  Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue. The adopter's information is added once the adoption is complete. The adopter is responsible for a $19.99/Year registration fee or a $69.00/Lifetime registration fee to change information.  Dogs and Cats still need to have collar with tags should they get lost.
